Final project (Meesterproef)

For my final project I designed a visual and interactive interface based on a case I selected myself. My project focused on Vinted and the story of the journey that clothing makes. I wanted to show how second-hand clothing changes owners, the impact this has on sustainability, and the personal stories connected to it. This final project gave me the opportunity to show my personal vision as a designer and to apply knowledge from my minor in a unique and experimental design.

• Case selection and vision: I translated the story of clothing journeys into a concept that is both informative and inspiring, and reflects my vision on storytelling and sustainability.
• Creative design: I designed an experimental interface with text, image and sound to create an immersive experience that makes the journey of clothing tangible.
• Applying knowledge: By applying insights and techniques from earlier courses, I strengthened the design and functionality of the interface.
• Prototype development: I developed the design into a prototype, experimenting with interactive and visual elements.

With this final project I created an interface that not only highlights my style and skills as a designer, but also tells an important story about sustainability and reuse.
